about your trainer
Where It All Began
I started my journey as a personal trainer when I was just 20 years old, and today I’m proud to say I’ve been a NASM-certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist for over 12 years.
I grew up in a small town in Connecticut and have always been drawn to movement—whether it was soccer, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, or water skiing. These activities sparked my love for purposeful, movement-based living.
When Life Hit Hard
Like many athletes, I faced my share of injuries—falls, fractures, and sprains that eventually forced me to give up most of the activities I loved. I was wearing back braces just to get through the day, dealing with constant neck and knee pain, and spraining the same ankle every few months.
On top of that, I was working out endlessly—hours of cardio and intense routines—just trying to lose the weight I had gained from being less active and not fueling my body properly. I tried every diet and fitness program I could find, but nothing worked. I felt frustrated, defeated, and trapped in a body that felt broken and “too big” compared to other girls my age.
“I felt trapped in a body that felt broken and too big—but I refused to give up.”
Finding My Purpose
At the same time, my mom was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). I watched this strong, independent, and motivated woman lose her ability to move with ease—needing a walker, help to get around, and eventually unable to care for herself. It was heartbreaking to see her confidence and independence slip away.
But then something incredible happened—she hired a personal trainer at our local gym. The transformation I witnessed in her body, mood, and overall quality of life felt like a miracle.
Seeing my mom reclaim her strength and confidence lit a fire in me. I wanted to help others break free from pain, frustration, and self-doubt—just like she had. I enrolled at the National Academy of Sports Medicine and earned my certification as a personal trainer. Soon after, I returned to earn my corrective exercise specialization so I could help people who were dealing with pain, chronic conditions, or movement limitations, just like myself and my mom.
“I turned my pain and frustration into a purpose—and I’m here to help you do the same.”
Empowering Others
The knowledge I’ve gained through this journey has completely transformed my own life—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of clients and members of my community discover their own strength, find empowerment, and achieve their fitness goals through sustainable, realistic, and personalized training programs.
